Commerce St. Hotel

Conceived as a modern addition to a sensitive warehouse context, the 611 Commerce project is a new hotel located in one of the most sensitive historic districts of New Orleans. The project is currently under construction and set to be completed in 2022. The modern design draws its materiality and forms from the neighboring warehouse building fabric. In an effort to navigate the extremely tight site conditions the proposed design utilizes a prefabricated light gauge steel framing solution for the buildings super structure.
