Brandon Stevens, RA, NCARB
Staff Architect
Brandon Stevens earned his Bachelor of Architecture from LSU in 2011 and quickly went to work with Murray Architects from 2011-2015, where he had also interned summers during college. One of his first projects, completed in 2014, was a wing addition to Destrehan High School, his alma mater. This would be the beginning of what is sure to be a long career in architecture. Brandon returned to commercial renovations and took on the extensive, 100-year-old, historic Galetoire’s 33 Bar & Steak restaurant in the French Quarter with great success.
Brandon has had an affinity for residential design since childhood, taking great interest in his Uncle’s practice in Boston, Mass. In 2015 he went on to work at Hollingsworth Design using his talents to design many great homes throughout Louisiana as well as residential buildings in Carillon Beach Florida. He hopes one day to specialize in zero energy residential design.
During his time working at Keystone Engineering, Brandon gained experience on the other side of consulting. By learning a different trade and approach to architecture, he has become a more rounded professional.
Brandon obtained his license to practice architecture shorty before starting with Metro Studio in January of 2017. His talents in commercial and residential design are a valuable asset to an already hard working team of professionals. Most notably, he was the Lead Architect on the award-winning Hotel St. Vincent located on historic Magazine St. in New Orleans as well as the Bayou Treme Arts Center.
He believes that architecture is the artistic liberty of the built environment defined by the health, safety and welfare of the human being.
